What was the highlight of The Haycock Manor Hotel
Wonderful
Continental breakfasts and calamari tempura were excellent. We were grateful for rooms with 2 single beds, which were very comfortable. Easy to adjust the heating.
The lighting in the bedrooms was not good - you could not read in bed. The bathrooms did not appear to have a fan and the mirrors fogged over. We were told these problems were going to be rectified.

What was the highlight of The Haycock Manor Hotel
Beautiful place in a unique village setting
Exceptional hotel in historic surroundings. Everything was good and we would stay again if in the area. The room was large and spotless, the bed very cosy and comfortable. En-suite bathroom was big, the shower excellent. All staff were courteous and professional throughout the Hotel.
Only thing we would comment on is the breakfast. Described as 'full English' was disappointing, very small and not substantial enough (the bacon was mostly fat and very little meat!) However, on the plus side there was fruit and cereal and lovely bread available too, which more than made up for the small cooked offering :)

Perfect in every way!
A good choice for breakfast of both cold and hot buffet, able to cater for dietary needs as well (gluten free). All staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, very polite, amenable and accommodating to ensure our stay was perfect! Room was clean and spacious, great bathroom, complementary bottles of sparkling and still water, tea and coffee.
